Unexpected traffic delayed our fun

The extensive menu options for meals were excellent, including a good dessert selection. We thoroughly enjoyed the well-appointed onsen and the super comfortable beds.

Unfortunately, we were not warned about the afternoon traffic from Odawara Station, which turned what should have been a 40-minute ride into a frustrating 105-minute ordeal. It impacted our planning.

During our two-night stay, we appreciated how quickly we could stroll to the Hakone Museum of Art, just a short 500 meters away, and the amazing Hakone Open-Air Museum, almost 2 km from us. Both places offered fine views and enriching experiences that complemented our walks around the charming streets of Hakone.

Wow, our stay was very nice! The private onsen in our room offered lovely views and total relaxation. Meals were a feast for the senses, but I wish there were more facilities available to enjoy.

the private onsen was a bit tricky to close the blinds which was annoying. however, the stunning mountain views were breathtaking! our meals were huge and very tasty. the staff made us feel super welcome and were always smiling. 😊

Amazing service, enjoyable meals, with the butler serving our room being polite and attentive, and the Japanese breakfast was great while we had access to free parking.
